The women development cell is a statutory cell working as per the directions of MHRD and UGC. The primary aim of this cell is women empowerment. It enables      economic and emotional self-reliance of women through various activities.

Women cell in our institution aims to ensure gender friendly and neutral learning and working atmosphere leading to empowerment and sound inter relationship between all genders. The cell plays an important role in voicing opinions on important matters that affect the daily life of women students. It provides a platform where students can comfortably participate and share their views. The cell actively promotes gender equality. Its role includes the receiving and redressal of complaints and grievances of injustice, harassment against women. Justice and dignified life with proper addressing into female issues is serious concern of cell. Apart from providing a discussion forum, the cell organizes debates and panel discussions on matters concerning to women, poetry competitions, cultural and social events etc. for the upliftment of women and spread the real importance of gender equality in the society through students. The cell always stresses upon the development of women in every sphere and in creating an environment that will help women realise their full potential and give their best.
